“I don’t think Lourdes takes a bad photo! The camera loves her and I had so much fun going through their photos. Lourdes and Ryan got ready at The Tanglewood House and held their reception there after the ceremony at Immaculate Conception, Clarksville, TN. The day was just beautiful and went so smoothly. Everyone was laid back and had so much fun at the reception.” -Katie, Katie Wright Photography

Q&A with the bride, Lourdes

What was your first step in planning your wedding day?

The first step with planning the wedding was to pick a day, get the venue, and most importantly

planning within your financial means. We came out debt free along with having a week long honeymoon that we took immediately following our wedding in St. Lucia thru honeymoonsinc.com.

Did you do any DIY projects?

No, all of the wonderful personalized items were completed by the Tanglewood House and thru Etsy.

What are your favorite details from your wedding day?

My favorite details included the beautiful flowers that were arranged personally by Karey D. She did the arrangements for the church, our bouquets, as well as all the boutonnières & corsages. The photography was exquisite by Katie Wright.

If you could go back and change anything from your wedding day, what would it be?

We would not change anything we sincerely loved everything about our wedding.

Any advice for brides planning their wedding day?

Appreciate the day by realizing it is not just 'your' day it includes your groom and it should be memorable for both of you. Most importantly plan within your financial means it truly is possible.
